Pekkasten experiences with Freshin's implementation of ventilation improvements
Freshin improved the problem caused by the negative pressure generated by mechanical exhaust ventilation in the villa.
Economist and hobby builder Kauko Pekkanen explains how mechanical exhaust ventilation in their Kaarela apartment caused problems for the house by creating negative pressure and drawing more impurities into the building than normal.
Freshin conducted an indoor air quality measurement for Pekkas, which revealed that the building's indoor air quality was otherwise good, but elevated levels of air pollutants were detected. To remove the air pollutants, a Fresh air exchange system was installed on the ground floor and the upper floor on a turnkey basis.
